Münsterland & surrounding area

Rolling fields and charming villages

The region to the east of Münster is a unique, historic cultural landscape. Relax in the wealth of nature. The region has an extensive network of well developed cycling paths. The local flora and fauna is just as impressive as the tasty regional cuisine. Delicious seasonal specialities such as asparagus, strawberries, game, meat and sausage delicacies make your mouth water.

Historic buildings such as the double palace complex Harkotten in Füchtorf and numerous tourist attractions appeal to lovers of art and culture. The local Feldmarksee recreational area offers a wide range of activities. Swimming in the Feldmark lake or in the open air swimming pool, Nordic walking, walking tours in the nearby Teutoburg Forest and horse riding, golf, sailing and pedalo driving all provide a great sense of joy.
