A boating holiday on this unique houseboat – relaxation and experience, pure nature and a city atmosphere. On a boat yet as comfortable and cosy as at home! The houseboat can accommodate up to 4 people: there’s a sleeping cabin with a double bed and also a pull-out sofa bed in the living area.

The houseboat is fully furnished with a WC (electric macerator toilet), wash basin, separate shower, kitchenette with sink, two gas hobs as well as a fridge, seating group, built-in cupboard and a TV. Two stand-up paddleboards belong to the boat and can be used free of charge – perfect for exploring one of the most beautiful parts of the Havel.

On the water and in the countryside

All-round glazing means you can enjoy stunning views of the water and the countryside wherever you are. The real highlights of the houseboat are waiting for you outside: the rear terrace is equipped with a modern outdoor kitchen with a fridge, hob and sink, so you can cook and eat in the open air when the weather is good. An outside staircase leads from the bow to the roof, where you will find a wonderful roof terrace that extends the length of the living area: here you can relax, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the passing scenery.

Prices, boating licence & location

A powerful 60 PS outboard motor provides mobility. . An inland boating licence is mandatory, or else a fee-based charter licence can be acquired on-site following a three-hour training session. However, for safety reasons on the water, renting the houseboat is recommended only if you already own a boating licence.

A fee-based parking space is available at the adventure farm (key handover).

Additional costs will be charged for electricity, water and gas. The specified consumption costs are guidelines and may differ at the various jetties. A deposit of €1,000 has to be paid to the owner before arrival. This property is not covered by minor damage insurance.

The starting point for your boating holiday is the Lower Havel Waterway, which is characterised by extensive river kilometres. From here you can start your long journey in the heart of one of the best water sports areas in Germany, if not the whole of Europe. The lower Havel Lowlands has been used as a licence-free water route since 2005. With our Havelbiber houseboat you have the opportunity to experience this unforgettable journey.
